Torrontés
VINTAGE: 2014

VARIETALS: 100% Torrontés

REGIONS: Calchaquies Valley, Altamira (San Carlos)

ELEVATION: 1.700 m (5577 ft.), 1.100 m (3609 ft.)

HARVEST METHOD: Hand-Harvested

VINIFICATION: Max. Temp. 14°C. Selected yeast. Conservation over lees during 3 months in order to improve the structure of the wine.

ANALYTICS:
ALCOHOL 13.9%
ACIDITY 6.0 g/L

TASTING NOTES: Enticing aromas that are strikingly similar to Viognier, with hints of white pear, white flowers and citrus fruit. On the palate, it has a beautiful structure and acidity along with enticing fruit flavors that keep you coming back for another sip. Plenty of body for a wine that shows such delicate aromas and flavors. Fruity, floral and yet still quite dry.

PAIRING Best enjoyed in its youth either by itself, or as a wonderful partner with smoked meats, mild to medium-strong cheeses and seafood. It’s also a delicious wine to pair with Asian food and sushis and a surprising partner with goat cheese.
Malbec
VINTAGE: 2014

VARIETALS: 95% Malbec, 5% Bonarda

REGIONS: Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley

HARVEST METHOD: Hand-Harvested

VINIFICATION: Max. Temp. 28°C – 31°C, with a 15- 20 day maceration

ANALYTICS:
ALCOHOL 13.9%
ACIDITY 5.2 g/L

OAK AGING 9 months in 70% French oak, 30% American oak

TASTING NOTES: Beautiful reddish-purple color. The aromas are a mix of freshly crushed black cherries and subtle coffee and vanilla notes, just enough to frame the exuberant fruit. On the palate, the flavors of cherries and spice are obvious, and the jammy fruit quality just keeps coming on, with hints of spice and sandalwood lurking in the background.

PAIRING: This wine can be consumed at almost any occasion, by itself or with a large range of food, including roasted beef and barbecues.
